Welcome to the website of First Presbyterian Church (Non-Subscribing), Newry. We are a member congregation of the Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church of Ireland with a non-dogmatic liberal Christian ethos. We are known as "Non-Subscribing" because, unlike the other Presbyterian denominations in Ireland, we do not require our ministers or elders to subscribe to the Westminster Confession of Faith.
Our church building is located in the heart of Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland. The members of our congregation represent diverse backgrounds, and come both from the city of Newry itself and from other areas across a wide hinterland in Counties Down, Armagh and Louth. Visitors are very welcome at all our services.
